So KK what you think happened to Tiya S video card, it was less than 1 year old I think. It was the XFX model from Tigerdirect that 2monster suggested last year. Ummm |

Man there is no telling to be honest. XFX's are normally pretty good. I'd be more inclined to think it's a motherboard myself. With the fan header not working, and the "rocky" start we'll say, it wouldn't surprise me.
If it was the video card, it's normally always a V-ram issue.
At least it's under warranty.... right? |

@nemo, I believe the HDD is split into partitions because that way they have somewhere to store a recovery os. | You know ... I dont remember seeing that it had one ... let me check.
EDIT:
Okay i have a 80, 60, and 8 gig partition. Normally recovery partitions are the first one, in this case it looks like the third.

[rant] WhyTF do they have Me fill out my own Evaluation @ work? Its a series of statements that I have to grade myself on a scale from 1-5 1 being bad, 5 being Awesome. all 3's will get a 3% raise, 4's a 4% raise, and 5's a 5% raise. Guess which two you will never get?
So you fill out your Evaluation, turn it in to your Boss, and then they fil in there numbers. Anybody wanna guess who's column has a total box at the end?
Good Grief, Just go back to the form they use in every other Dept. one column, they fill it out, tell you how you supposedly did, and give you your 3%.
For that matter they sent the one I did with mostly 4's back wanting examples of how/why I earned 4's when there weren't even enough 4's to get 4%.
I was tempted to make them all 5's and add a comment that said "Because I'm Super Awesome."
I guess I should be happy I have a Job, and a 3% raise.
Its The old Carrot on a stick scheme. They Wave 5% under your nose to get you to try harder, and then still give you the same old bag of Oats.[/Rant] |

Yeah and every year 3% is a little more than it was the year before. (ie, 3% of $1 is less than 3% of of $5.) |
