My points are slowing going down =(

So I've been watching my points go way down the last couple days. I got back from a family reunion, fired up the rig and low and behold I'm only putting out half the points I used to be able to. I find it odd. I should be pumping out over 4k points imo. I was doing nearly 7k before Stanford modified their WU's.

Core 2 Quad 2.7Ghz @ 3.2Ghz
GTX 260 over clocked, 600Core 1300Mem 190.38 drivers
XP Pro

Anyway, I've been thinking about dumping the GTX and going with a 4870 X2, or a 4890, but I can't seem to find out if ATI fixed their fan speed/heat issues. My mobo supports Crossfire so two Nvidia cards is out of the question.

For you experienced folders...what do you think both about the low points and possible upgrade? Oh, and all 4 cores are crunching too, thanks to some help from karma.

Edit*** Just added my clock frequencies for my graphic card

From what I've gathered from reading many posts, it's not the memory or core speeds that matter but the shader speeds. I've downclocked my gpu from 756 to 625, left the memory alone, and clocked the shaders from 1836 to 1944. My days do vary but I think I peaked with a little over 11k for a single day since I finally got some issues straightend out on this end. I forgot -gpu X tags and was getting really terrible output.

I'm only running 2 GTS 250's and 2 cores of a q6600.

Of course yesterdays lack of internet service really screwed up my output.
