| I was trying to get an image to show within my post, but it seems that the permissions on my SBS aren't taking hold... Maybe it just needs a restart (after updates were installed) to get them to 'take', but I'll attach them to this for now...
The other option would be for me to create a login for the crunchers and hand it around - but that's more of a headache-inducing workaround than a fix... |

| Nice worse than I thought it would be. (thinking it was a little scrape).
I would be one of those 'new' active folders on part of Flying JJ's I7.

I would be one of those 'new' active folders on part of Flying JJ's I7. | It would've been a little scrape if the wheel nuts hadn't caught onto the wheel (they also punctured the tyre, and scraped a chunk out of the rim itself) and therefore turned the steering into it...
And to think that the only damage to the lorry was a broken indicator and a missing bulb (for said indicator).... I'm back "working" there again tomorrow, they're that not bothered about it... I said about it to the agency, then showed him the pic.... He raised his eyebrows, but today said that they've asked for me by name... |

Johnross2007 just passed me like I was sitting still. Don't think my 5k points today will catch back up to him. I should get my big folder back online tonight. Way to go JohnRoss2007!
Thanks,

Wanted to post an update on my ongoing adventures in using linux VMs (virtual machines) on a windows host to maximize PPD.
Now that I am running two ubuntu-based 4-CPU VMs under VMware workstation (I was running the Reilly/notfred appliance VM before) I have found a bit of a downturn in my net production. I was expecting something more on the order of 8,000 PPD and I seem to keep drifting down to more like 6,500 PPD netted out.
The biggest problem I seem to have is that I can count on one of my two folders hanging at some point every week. The good news is that the linux based 6.02 client runs the much-higher-performing a2 core... the bad news is that the linux client has a chronic problem with cleaning up the work folder and after about a week, there is so much residue laying around that errors occur.
Are any of you guys linux geeks (I am not a linux guy) who can come up with a command I can put in cron that will properly clean up the work folder but be smart enough to not delete currently needed files? |

Sky there is a good possibility that I may be able to help you. Well, not really me, but I have a good friend coming in town tomorrow that is the bees knees when it comes to linux. I'll see if he can write up something real quick. No promises, but I'll see what I can do. |

I'll be folding again sometime soon. I haven't folded for a while cause I was experiencing all kinds of network issues but I have a handle on it for now.
