Rawr, im back again. Methinks I will upgrade my processor by the end of december, and get another hard drive that is the same as the one I have. Does anybody want to recommend me a better lga 775?
Other than that, I got a new flash hider for my gun coming in the mail, so I don't have to look at the disgusting orange tip on my gun. I will also be filming the next game I go to with a helmet camera attached to the gun with a gun mount for it.
News on the alienware: I have emailed alienware asking them if I can get a new mxm card(s) for my laptop, since noone sells them retail and it has to be a specific size and whatnot for it to fit in the notebook. They haven't sent me an email back, so today I sent them another email saying the 72 hour period of estimated time theyd answer my question was up, and put a little bit of a sob story so they might actually answer it. But knowing alienware and their terrible customer support they will either: A. not reply. Or: B. Tell me to send it in to the alienware shop to have it fixed (which is what they told us over phone (didn't ask to buy mxm card, but checking warranty) and itd cost 250+ to do that excluding all of the parts that would need to go in there). If it doesn't get answered within 72 hours, I will call them and ask them.Last edited by TimeDeatH; September 21st, 2009 at 11:03 AM.

Well google does not turn up much (I did'nt know liteOn did PSU's)

I would'nt want to run a 295 on that, (even not taking into account the max wattage for the +12v rails) 37Amps is not enough really (If you can take a pic of the label will find out true Amps...) I would guess it was around 25-30), 40 would be the minimum I would run a 295 on.
PS-6451-2 Is the part number not the model number, anything I find is just offering a replacement for $300!!!

Since we don't have an immediately pending team overtaking us... looks like we will break the top 100 and be on extreme's page 1 before the end of this week's thread!!! (F@H technically has us at 103). I was surprised to see that there's no team coming up behind us... I thought maybe the overtake stats only looked out so far, so I scrolled through the list to see if there's any "dark horse" teams (engracio: not BLACKHORSE, that's different! lol) down in the clutter... maybe some team that is 20 million points below and off the radar, but still gaining slowly... But nope, not one, there are no teams below us even close to our PPD, about 250,000 right now.

Just found the fine print, definitely won't fly then...
Combined 12V max is 32 amps, or 450 watts
OK, so, I am, as I said, a very technical guy... technical enough to easily swap a PSU, non-technical enough to admit I won't enjoy doing it. Is there any gotcha's I need to be aware of? I hate that when you get the old PSU out, are snaking the cables for the new PSU in, when someone says "Oh, I hope you ordered the new one WITH the kanuter valve, or it won't work"... and there I am snaking the new one out, putting the old back in, then swapping again later.| i7 920 | -bigadv SMP on linux VM | ATI 4850 GPU |

THANK YOU!!!
Love the title, Wish I could tell most of my annoying customers that when the damn things are on sale.
seriously, my most hated job at work is filling the %$%$&%^$^*%$%$#%$#%$*^$%%$*%&*%$&%^%^$%(&^*%$^)(^& *$&^
banana tables....
3 tables, move the remaining ones to one table, perfectly fine, nothing wrong with them, I move all the individual, pairs and triplet bunches to the bottom row, if someone needs only a couple, then they can grab from there...
but freakin NOooooo...
I start one table, sometimes with boxes open (for people to ransack, if I walked away from cart for 5 minutes I'd come back to find them ripped open anyways), but usually I can't get one table filled half way before people start pushing their way into my way and grabbing and digging through the display, ripping bunches apart, etc etc, absolutely no respect for me or the efforts I'm trying to make a neat looking display as we're required to do.
I could grab one bunch out of the box, put it on the table, someone who just dug through 50 bunches will put their one bunch down, grab the new one I just put on the table, then I'll put another, they put their new bunch down, and grab that one, so on and so on.
come back 5 minutes later and pick yet another bunch.
there's times I want to go ape shit on these morons, just grab a f*cking bunch of bananas and take the damn things already.
usually its some stupid excuse like they need to make sure they grab one bunch that can last, because they turn so quickly...
because you know, god forbid eat TWO bananas in a day, instead of just the recommended one a day
lord knows they'll be in later in the week again anyways.
its the one of many jobs, but the most irritating of them, that I can't get one table done at a time, unless it slows down in the store...
hell I could have 2 frickin tables just filled, and working the 3rd and the morons will come over and start digging through the 3rd tables product. its as if they want a bunch that has been blessed or something, anointed by the produce man...
I've always wondered if I dug my hand down the back of my pants and scratched my crack, and then dug a bunch out of the box for customers, if they'd still think their bunch was blessed and take it anyways?

So yeah, Wish I could honestly tell the customers we have no Banana's many many times LOL
in other news... hey, guess what, I didn't have to do the banana table yesterday at work

seriously,
... no, seriously, I didn't have to Work the Banana Tables yesterday LOL.
So happy about that I guess.
still waiting on that thermal paste, so those upgrades are on hold.
really want to get that 9800GTX in use.
anyone know of any good deals on a quality digital camera, looking for something to replace my old 2 MP Kodak, something with an LCD, and uses full size SD cards.
battery life needs to be decent too, that damn Kodak drains batteries so quick, and could be sitting on shelf for a week before next use (shut off too), will go to use and the batteries are drained.
also corrupts images written to the cards at random too.
so looking for something cheap, preferably less than $50, was going to look at Walmart and Target today to see if they had any cheap Clearance models or Clearanced display units.i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green

I also took a look at the Newegg.com - CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply - Power Supplies from corsair. A tuny bit more but had good reviews, etc... Any feedback?

This will be tough. Like with a lot of products, once the camera gets down to about $129 the margin for the retailer falls so quickly that they just stop selling that model. Even at Walmart you may be hard-pressed to come up with anything nice (not the kid's cameras at 29-39 bucks) for anything under $100.
