I know there is a way to fold on the PS3 ... is there any work on getting folding on the Xbox 360?

Stupid restricted. I have to have specific kernels, serial cable connection between my PC and the Xbox, compile a bunch of software, burn it to disc, use an exploit to get the connection to accept commands from my computer and then run a Distro install to HD.
Thats WAY too much work and looks like i would be hacking my xbox to some extent to make this work ... yea not happening.

Bearing in mind that my understanding of Linux amounts to whatever time I've spent on it since about Friday, plus 5-10 minutes which prolly makes it about an hour if you take out surfing t'web and playing games (I was playing the "eat fruit and make your snake longer" type game the other night..... That's the closest I've been to being a "gamer" for a while....
Would it be possible (easier??) to do an install to a HDD, then swap it for the one that is in the 360...? Granted you might need to do something to sort the 'boot' out, but it sounds to me like it could be easier than all that faffing and f*cking about you mentioned.....

Ugh, what happens when noobs purchase airsoft guns: they get these: Evike.com - Airsoft Guns | Evike.com - Sniper Rifles | Evike.com - z UTG APS2 SNIPER RIFLE WITH BIPOD (SCOPE NOT INCLUDED).(ACU) | crappy spring sniper rifles, then make noobish reviews like:
Submited By: Ana J. on 12/25/2008
"this sniper is awsome!!! all the bad reviews who said this are lieing!!!I JUST GOT THIS RIFLE FOR CHRISTMAS!!!Its rather hard to put togather but....after that it rocks it shoots about 400-420 fps with a 20 gram bb, but i use 25 gram its more accurate..its light weight and the bolt is pretty easy to pull back...and the bipod that comes with it is awsome!!! u can adjust it to be the perfect lenght according to your size!!!and finnaly this is a war story on christ right when i put it togather me and my dad had a war and i powned him!!!i shot and hit his cheek about 170 feet away and it made him bleed and the bb got embeded into his cheek also i shot about 250 feet away from him and it hurt bad from that distance i reconmend you buy a 3-9-40 its the perfect zoom in for this rifle. finaly he are the pros and cons
PROS
powerful
accurate
light weight wieght
mag holds alot of bbs [26 bb's}
CONS
there are none this gun rocks!"
I hate it when airsoft noobs start out with spring sniper rifles, and that being the only gun they ever owned, think that it's the best gun ever.
1. Your gun is not a sniper. If you pull a sniper's trigger he will probably beat you to a pulp.
2. Caps locks doesn't make christmas more exciting.
3. Since when does a BB weigh 20 grams and 25 grams? It's .2 and .25 grams
4. Yes, the bipod is just simply amazing, it has 2 legs and makes the gun more steady when mounted OMG! A bipod is a bipod, don't cream in your pants about it.
5. Ok, if you are going to even proclaim the word pwn, associating with this gun, at least spell it right (and the about 50 other words you spelled wrong.)
6. You cannot embed a plastic BB into someones skin with an airsoft gun of this power, unless you made an incision and jammed it in there. You get welts even at point blank range.
7. A war story is not 2 sentences.
8. Really? 26 BBs is ALOT of BBs? The standard high capacity magazine for an M4 is 350 BBs, so one M4 magazine is about the equivalent of 13 and 1/2 of that gun's magazines.
Not many people can get by in airsoft without fully automatic guns. I use that mode about 98.5% of the time.
Oh well, done ranting a typical airsoft noob. On the other hand, I figured out that my Asus EPU-6 engine is what was causing my temps to be high. It was set for high performance, I changed that to auto, and now my temps run from 30-40c idle, 40-60c maximum load.Last edited by TimeDeatH; September 29th, 2009 at 04:08 PM.

to be honest I don't think the 360 would net much in points either, the GPU is somewhere between the Radeon X800 and X1800/1900 series, and CPU's though at 3+ GHz each, wouldn't net much in points anyways. you'd probably net considerable more points just throwing in a better video card in your PC. less of a pain to set up too...
I already looked into 360 for folding and as you found out, its too much of a hassle to set up and get running. plus nullifies your 360 for actual game play use, at least when connected to Live.i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green
