Oh look.... This thread is still all shiny...
I've seen the light... It was green, flashy and attached to a Network Interface Card...Whenever someone says "You can't miss it", I invariably do...

Well, a bunch more white schtuffs fell from the sky lastnight, so I'm sure that the top will be full of lovely fresh powder (not that there wasn't any yesterday) for me to go and play in today..!

Well, forgot my goggles, didn't take a scarf, the group didn't stop for lunch, we were going down (the slopes) in a mini-blizzard, then we decided to take a 12 km trip from the top of one mountain down through copious amounts of powder, and saw that the temperature (at the bottom) was -8 C, so the top would've been around -12~-18 C not including the wind chill factor...

IDK what you guys refer to. As 'tires' (tyres) over there, but the first thing I'd change about Shy's car would be the rims......

Hey Nude --
If you're really into a great skiing experience . . . check out my old haunts at Alyeska!
There's some GREAT runs and
I've had some great runs there and ya' know when the end of the day comes and ya' can hardly walk back to your room . . . it was a good day.Intermediate and advanced skiers will love the wide open bowls and long top to bottom runs while tree-lined groomed runs are ideal for the beginner. Experts love the North Face, North America’s longest continuous double black run. Freestylers can check out the features of our terrain park or later this season, hit the Alyeska Pipeline Super Pipe.
I skiied there back in the early 80's and the double black runs kept ya' on your toes.
Here's the interactive trails map.
Or ya' could stop by my place . . . I'm less than 30 minutes from MT Bachelor.
It's not as challenging as Alyeska, but still a decent hill. Trail Map!

rims... what rims, those are standard solid wheels with wheel covers LOL...
besides, rims are nice, but in winter with snow and mud and whatever else, standard wheels and even rims with a lot of "coverage" in them is nice, to keep that crap from building up in between the spokes and whatever else LOL.
either way, tires are more important for safety and function than new rims are right now...
rear tires have only a little tread left on them.
front are better, but since the car had been sitting on the lot all winter, they need replacing anyways, I can feel a slight shake that is USUALLY a sign of tires that have been sitting for too long, especially in winter weather.
but thats why its going in for its first inspection/check up tomorrow morning, so I will know more.i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green

is that karma with a | at both ends?
|karma|
or
karma
?
just to be sure.
I have to still install the game.
looking for a new mouse right now too, seeing if I can find a nice deal on the Logitech G500 for under $50, but can't find any deals right now.
not sure if its the mouse, or the latest Setpoint software (running 64-bit version), but it never wants to save the report rate at all, its always running @ 125, I set it for 500 or 1000, and apply the settings, I close the program, then open it again, and its saying 125...
grrrr, as it is, my mouse moves slower on Desktop than when in games, and even then, its a pain in the ass.
slow cursor on game menus, but in FPS's its only so so for response, I have to jack up the mouse sensitivity in game to more than I normally would have it set.
damn sensitivty settings on the mouse itself only gives me 3 options, where as before I used to have all 5 DPI settings on it (Logitech G5)...
meanwhile with in Setpoint all 5 settings are enabled, but the mouse only allows for 3 on the LED on the mouse.
thinking of reverting to 32-bit version see if there is an improvement, and hesitant on flashing the firmware for the mouse to.i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green

It's got the | at the front and end of my name. But in game the | turns into a crosshair looking thing. And my clan tag is [OCN] so if you see someone with that, that's me.

As far as the mouse, I'd check into the deathadder. It's a nice mouse for the price. I have the older model (before they moved to the new sensor) and it's great.
Another one to keep an eye out for is the RAT series from MadCatz. Saitek and Mad Catz are the same company now, and they have a couple of super nice mice coming out.

I have run Opera Mini on my blackberry for a few years now, it is THE singular fo-shizzle browser for a smart phone. I am still on 4, I did the 5 beta and had trouble, one of the sites I am on constantly (geocaching.com) I couldn't log into with Opera 5, so I had to fall back. Will try again soon.
