    [UD]New and improved herd

Well, after a week and a half of no cows running UD, I can now say I have lost one but added 2. The first one is my fathers 1 ghz Duron, and second is my brand spanking new AMD 1800+.

My K6 machine is now munching on the greenest grass of all, god bless her soul[sniff]. She will be missed.

Always sad to lose a cow, but congrats on the gains!

Thanks. Glad to be back. Its amazing how attached to my computer I was. Felt good to get the new one running, but even better to load up UD on it.

Ain't that the truth, Vass? If there's a weak point in a computer, in terms of reliability, running UD 24/7 will bring it out.

Hehehe, yeah it will. When I first installed UD I thought the old machine was in tip-top shape. It lasted a couple of months, but it went south from there.

    Good News

I borrowed a socket 7 processor from a buddies system and tried it in my old board. It fired right up

So, it looks like if I get another processor for that old girl she'll be back in running order and I'll have another cow for the herd.
