How do I correct this folding error?
On my big rig, I just noticed the following error: I won't load all the stats on the 295 rig again, everyone involved knows them well,,,,

So, how do I get back into config when it's rinning as a service?

are you trying to configure it, or are you trying to get it to start folding?
if the latter, you need to remove the -configonly flag from the clienti7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green

Folding error
Shy,
Nude had done this config but it never worked and he was way past midnight ( and I thinnk ejoying some good vodka and pepsi, or so he said )
I just can't stand looking at FahMon with both CPU's he started folding at 100% but definitely comtributing. (-gpu0) is the 5-6 PPD GPU but you can see the folder named -gpu0. Which icon in that folder will be the one I need to expand. Once I explode that if I am given the chance I think I can handle it, or, I can mail you the key through LogMeIn and you can go to anywhere uwant.

why don't you do that, its been a while since I used LogMeIn or Hamachi, but not sure when I would be able to look, dealing with Chemo visits all this week so my time I'm on and feeling like doing something varies, as you probably know.
its late here, I have to get something in my stomach, and head to bed, Chemo at 9AM again tomorrow.i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green

Hi Net...
That entry in the log is where I configured your client for you, but we couldn't get it to Fold on a second instance on the same GPU card... The "-configonly" part is just stating that the EXE (application) was started on that particular occasion with that flag - in order to configure it ready for use...
If you want to make any changes to it:
Start --> Run --> 'cmd' [Enter] --> 'cd C:\FAH\' [Enter] --> 'cd <Folding_Client_Folder_Name> [Enter] --> 'Folding@home-Win32-GPU.exe -configonly' [Enter] --> and make any changes you need to.
Having said that, I don't think you really need to make any changes to it, as it is configured in the same way that I would configure any of my clients, except that it already has -GPU1 somewhere in the config file (as put in the appropriate section of the config CLI) ready for when you can get it to run.
As I believe I mentioned in the other thread (GTX 295 (duo) stopped folding?) I have disabled both the service and the FahMon entry for that particular client, so it won't run for the time being anyway....
I've seen the light... It was green, flashy and attached to a Network Interface Card...Whenever someone says "You can't miss it", I invariably do...

I won't make any changes, I wasn't sure of everything you had halted until I re-read the mail. Just getting impatient to get that great card doing what it is supposed to do.
I have NO complaints, just watching FahMon on that rig is sort of sad. GPUo WAS running but finished a nice job, sitting there at 100% and won't turn in the W/U

Shy,
I will send you a PM so you will need to respond with your email address. I think you will enjoy LogMeIn, it's so easy to use.
Do you have skype or some other IM platform we can use while we are on? Maakes it pretty handy or, I can call you once we establish live communication.
What chemo drug? I hope it's not gemzetamine, that is some wicked stuff. I had a catheter implanted in my chest and did 6 months of 7x24 with 8 ft of IV line with a small pouch with the pump and IV bag. Every Tuesday morning Home Health would arrive at 7 AM, change the bag and battery and be gone until next week. It there is anything I really hate it's nausea.

Rather naive in the extreme to go to Communist China--even if a 'special territory' thereof --to hide. An act he will doubtlessly regret as he becomes a pawn.
