LOL, you don't have full mod permissions, basically just enough to deal with the spammers I'm guessing.

I got bored of seeing the "Recent Discussions" box filled with either SPAM threads (other than this fine SPAM thread) or SPAMvertising on legit threads...which would sit there untouched all day I'm "working", or at least at work....

Item marked one shows the IP used for the post, item two is where I could [theoretically] give someone an infraction. There's also tick-boxes where I could delete a post or merge threads, etc, plus all posts have the 'Edit' button - even for a Mod's post. I'm most interested in wiping out the SPAM though..the rest is just extra schtuffs...

It would've been nice to have the option to close/lock a thread, even if only for this section of the forum, so that I could "make" people update the newest thread......

Its basically like several other forums I've modded on before, similar options, though on those I usually had FULL admin access, other than to pay for the servers LOL.

alright marked also added the sig. I found out my DFI x58 board doesn't like running F@H on the GT 440. So I guess it's back to having the squealing GTX 285 running in it. I just need to set it up in a closet or out in the shed so I don't hear it. The GTX 580 is pushing one 50000 size block every 2.5 hours or something like that. No squealing, and stays around 65C with the fan locked at 60%

Carl, Do you think any of that sound insulating sheets from some case modding sites might help with the squealing sound at all? Muffle it a bit?

I know FrozenCPU out in your neck of the woods sells some of that stuff.

I would imagine squealing might be a bit hard to conceal with that stuff, but its just a thought.

I only like the one banhammer photo.. above mario I bought the mod-right foam kit for the new box. It might be helping with noise, vibes, but seems I mainly bought the stuff for the box. Windows, case windows, don't help.

Yeah, eventually down the road I plan on doing the same, adding some sound dampening stuff to the inside of the newer system, it has no windows thankfully, I'm sort of over that stuff now, though some cases they still look good on, just now I have to deal with 140mm fan vents on side of case instead.
