[UD] Wonder what? (PC911)
Just wondering what PC911 thinks now that we have started a serious recruiting drive.

anybody got a count on the number of new members as of late?

I think yesterday's daily output stats already show we were only 1000points less than them. We have even more new members today, in the next few days our stats should grow a few fmore thousand points on daily output.

I counted 17 new members in the last week.
Go team go!

Hahaha. They had no idea what a monster they were waking up!
A Big Thank You To PC911 tho, for alerting us and not just passing us without even waving.
MoooooooOOOOOOoooooo to all new members!!!

I believe our daily point total took a 10,000 point jump yesterday
New members are still getting things sorted out, I'm sure, so I'd expect those numbers to go up somewhat.
Let's not forget, too, that existing members are adding cows, tweaking machines and software environments and all the rest.
A big Formerly Deranged Bovine cheer to everybody
And a similarly huge THANKS!!! to one and all!
Yep, them ambulance jockeys may be a bit dismayed when they find out they drove that meatwagon over a 10,000 lb. gorilla's toes

Heh, heh,
We're not going anywhere.
I think it's great that the Cows are taking our challenge seriously.
The more crunching you do the better.
PC911 has picked up 24 new members so far this month.
We have averaged about 28 new member each month all year.
I remember that we challenged BitBenderTecch in mid-January and they trounced us every day for four weeks.
We were patient and persistent and four months later we passed them.
We are going to try and do the same to you.
So, don't think we are going to give up, because we are not.
We(the cows and PC911) are the class of UD until we get into the 20's and then the challenge will really begin.
A merger has been mentioned. I don't think that would ever happen, although together we would make a formidable team.
What's really fun about a competition like this is that you get to meet like-minded people that you wouldn't meet any other way.
And you get to pick their brains.
I have certainly learned a few things from the Cows.
We are starting an equipment exchange at PC911.
I was given two mobos and four processors that I am going to try and get some points with.
I will be putting together another cruncher this weekend and have managed to oc my PII350 to 466mh.
I also upped my Xp1700 a little. Every little bit helps.
I would like to see both our teams pass the 100k points per day soon.
That is one of our goals and the competition with the Cows is helping us do that.
Keep an eye on that rearview mirror.
Crunch on.
We'll all win.

My small herd should start to produce some more points now too, with my main machine being upgraded from a tbird@880 to an xp1600. The 880 is back up full time again on ud and eccp. Also my classic 500 is doing both as well. Now I need to dig through the drawers to see if I have any ram that will work on the k6-2/400. Then I can replace the p200 with it. Hmmmm..maybe I need to order a Duron 1.2 to replace the tbird...
BTW Cooley, great post, and we'll take your challenge and work harder. Like you said, in the end we're all winners.

Thanks, Troy. Pretty doggone impressive numbers your own selves

Earlier on cooleyaf (dubber) mentioned these two teams as being the class of UD. I'd like to think that's true. Nonetheless, we're obviously not gonna just roll over. Bring your best, we're up for it
