Added Benchmarks for the pre-release client.

Benchmarks of the pre-release client based on data gathered at the ECC2 and TechIMO forums.

Athlon .5114 ips/mhz
P2/P3/Celeron .4540 ips/mhz
P4 .2145 ips/mhz

My 700Mhz is performing 360 so that is normal according to the calculation.

2 of the 1400s in the sample were running Win XP. They were 685 and 710 ips, so if you're running Win XP you are right in there.

As for Athlon XP CPUs, they are 'over-rated' as far as mhz.

My XP1700 runs at a stock speed of 1466mhz. The benchmarks are for actual mhz.

Yes winXP, glad to see this is kinda normal. I could test it under win98 since I have a dual boot. But I want to press it over 700 under winXP. I shall check which process is taking up the rest. Otherwise I have to live with it.

Can't test it right now since I got a big download running from my friends PC so I can't restart or test anything about that at the moment.
