Also, if you'd like a gui interface to keep track, I'd highly recommend the ecc2 GUI.
Makes things a little snazzier (also, I find I don't feel like I'm doing anything if I can't see anything going on.

Good excuse to get an AMD | The best on win2k is to install it as service, follow the instructions Fosin posted. It will tehn automatically run at start-up and you don't see a command-window opened every time you run the client.
AMD runs the client the best, but the clients have improved since the first version and run allot better on Intels now.
If you have any questions feel free to ask them. Just post a new thread for best attention

Hey,
Does anyone know if ECC2 is installed as a service and if the computer is left on, but not logged on, will ECC2 still crunch away? or will there need to be a user logged on for it to work? Also, when you install it as a service, will it run only under the user who installed it, or under any user that uses the computer? Thanks in advance.

it SHOULD run even when no ones logged in if it runs as a service, but i've never really experimented, so i can't confirm. evilrick or someone more experienced might be able to answer that for sure

Well, I have been running one all nite and then change and run the other all day. I don't know if they will run together or not? I guess I could give it a try. |
