[ECC2] The Rules
Looks like some of the rules have been made.....
ECC2 RulesBlaming firearms for violence is like blaming spoons for Rosie O’Donnell for being fat!

I love this rule
4. Should a user leave a team for another one, the points generated while on that team, including #3 above, remain "credited" to that team. Any new points will be applied to the new team.

It's good they they came out and established the rules before the project kicks off. Now, if the clients will come out in the next couple weeks, I'll be a happy camper.........

Glad they changed the points rule. Now we won't see so much team swapping that changes the leader board quite so dramatically.

Cheers

typical resopnse from someone of your level of integrity.
The rules of eccp109 said you could take your points with you where ever you went. I dont remember them saying as long as FalconPSX thinks its ok.
Statements like that say alot for your character also

Opinions are good, so lets not crap on them.
I for one am with the the rules, IMHO they will reduce the team hopping issues.

from what I gather.. it means members will have their own.. and very different Identification.. So ppl wont be confused.. I'll have to read more to be sure.. but there was talk about a way to keep track of the users in a better way.. so even mini teams could see who's putting in the points..
btw keep it clean guys.. and friendly.. please no flaming from either side..In life one must Chill

I enjoy comming here and seeing whats going on at Techimo. I just get tired of all the derogatory comments. I didnt drop by to flame, just to see what you all thought about ecc2 and thats what I had to wade thru.
Just my opinion.
Im hoping to have a few good challenges from your team when this project gets rolling.
I dont realy care about not being able to switch teams. That wont stop me from participating. I just want a good, stable no baby sitting required client.

that sounds good to me fshanda.. I personally want a good client too if I put some power behind this.. I don't like keeping a check up on clients..

The bit about unique Identifiers was based on a request in IRC and the project forums. What it means is that the userID (here a Username) must be unique. In the original Eccp the handle did not have to be unique instead another string served as an identifier however on the stats pages users with the same handle were combined which caused a few minor issues with names like anonymous or userID
from what I read I do not believe there are plans to track stats by machine (or Node in D2OL linguo)
Cheers,
Marc
