Re: Join Seti's TechIMO.com
I just downloaded Seti today on both of my machines and have been crunching for the last ten hours. Everytime I try to sign up for the TechIMO team, I get a password error message. I went to SETI website and tried to sign in and get the same message. I am using the password that was sent to my by SETI. Am I doing something wrong?Originally posted by cunokyle
If you haven't checked into it, or if you have been away for awhile, consider joining our own Project Seti team at:

I had some problems signing in at the seti forum I was using my log-in passowrd that I made thinking it was the right one wich it wasn't and I had to have them send me my seti@home password again. Is this what your trying to do? Click on the password link and have them send you your password. It might be different than the one you have? other than that I have no problems logging in

Thanks guys. I am headed to bed with two machines crunching. I am interested in seeing how many units I can post by in the AM. I can see how this can be addictive. One question. A Celeron 600Mhz-- what is a safe temperature range?
Thanks!

I am back...and with a faster processor. I used to have the AMD Duron 1300...now I have an AMD AthlonXP 2000. Hope to see a little bit of an increase in WU output. Will know in a couple of days what the difference is.

welcome back cunokyle
you should see some increase in output. Did you get all the bugs worked out yet? i thought i saw a thread where you were having some issues?

yeah, I think I have that taken care of as well. I had 4 WUs done in 12 hours before I turned off the Seti program(and forgot to turn it back on)
So there is definitley in increase in output!

giving bshplt a chance to catch me..hehe well I'll jump on the stats and get them posted sometime on monday I think the idea of posting just active members in our thread seems to work out well.

Thats not really that bad. For some reason my computer is not likeing seti today. I've been having problems of late and did a fresh install of win98se and Now I'm crunching wu's alot slower than I was not sure what the problem is but I'm investigating. Planning on redoing my install of seti once I get this wu's finished hope that will make a difference

I like the idea of posts with just active users. Easier to sort out who is doing what and find out what all of the active users are doing.
As of right now...we are number 538. Heading in the right direction again! We also have 38 active members! That is great!! If we keep adding members we will really make some progress in the rankings...looks like we are going to be gaining some spots soon!

Afraid I won't be d/l'ing any wu's till Sat. Just moved and my new cable modem won't be hooked up till then.
I've got 21 wu's cached and done already! and it's only Wed. All well, guess I'll lose a few days crunching.
Wish I could run SETI at work.
