What's happening to Folding?????
ARHG the DPC's have overtaken us. From those heady heights of somewhere around 10 we are now down at 20 and slowly dropping.
Where's all that excitement gone?
Where's all the power gone?
What's going on?

G,
Have not have any internet connections all weekend long. So folding@home is put on hold until I get it back in a few days. Meanwhile, genome@home is going on with -nonet. Soon as I get connections those wu will be flushed and folding@home computers back online.
Hang in there buddy.

Hang in there guys, maybe I am not the only one with connection problems. We'll give them a fight still .

Hope this doesn't take from the new found life that g@h has been enjoying of late. If we have to bleed from one to give life to another we're in troubleWill switch from GAH to FAH should as soon as I get home.

g,
Not really, just bringing it back like it was 50/50. Had to kill all of the fah client cuz of the 6 day window. So I put themm all on gah with -nonet. Still having problem dumping the wu, must be stanford.

Well that's alright thenjust bringing it back like it was 50/50
just checking. I'm still leaning one of my work colleagues to get him to install G@H, he doesn't like/trust the fancy client that F@H has. Nearly there with the G@H though.
Don't you just hate that especialy when it happens when you are starting a new client/ reinstalling an exsisting one and you can't work out where the problem is us or themStill having problem dumping the wu, must be stanford

Vagabond,
Double/triple check make sure you have the latest version which is 2.15. That version fixed that problem, have not have that problem since v2.15
G,
we should be alright
it will work out fine.

g and e, I can run folding , but I feel as though with the 6 day window on villin, it's better to stay with genome.
Is the 6 day window 144 hours or is there some leeway?
Wish I could be more help!

GilaManster,
Right now there is not much leeway on that 6 days limit. It has been suggested by Stanford that if you feel you cannot or have difficulty meeting that 6 day limit which use to be 4 days, that you should genome instead of folding.
I personally put my slower boxes with genome.

GilaM,
I agree with e stick with the Genome. There's plenty of muscle out there to go round and as the G@H is going so well at the moment lets keep that up.
