I'll be able to run 3 P4 2.0Ghz comps at work thru the weekend... let's see if we can turn on the nitrous... time to kick it into 6th gear!

Hey, can you tell me what you get with those P4s?

Are they better at ecc2 than they were at eccp109?

    samwichse,

The P4 2.0Ghz comps were putting out 715k/s on average. I'm not sure if they're better for Ecc2 than Eccp109 because I have no experience with crunching under Eccp109... actually Ecc2 is my first DC project... For comparison, my AXP 1900+ puts out an average of 875k/s. Hope that helps.

I have a couple P4 2.5's that put out about 920k/s, much better over ECCP.

Well that's way better than the last one.

My XP1900+ (1700+ overclocked) puts out about 830.

Still outscored, but at least it's not 1/3...

Yes, from what I've heard Pentiums do allot better then they used to do with ECCp. Still AMD will outproduce Intels.

YEP.. AMD definitely kicks P4's on ecc2.
    I run ecc2 on a P4 1.6 and it makes like 475 to 575 it/s.
Right now I'm running the client on an Athlon 800mhz and it is making 410 to 470 it/s.
On my T-Bird 1.2, the it/s average is like 600 or more.!
