[FAD] So long to FAD! - Tech Support Forums

I am officially bowing out of FAD crunching. I topped off at 2 million+ points. I was running FAD on 3 machines(1700+,1800+,2000+), but have backed them off recently to concentrate more on UD.

I did enjoy running FAD and UD at the same time but UD is where my heart is. I was disappointed when they changed the client and FAD took over my machine. I am not interested in fixing the idle setting, just happy to run UD alone.

Thanks team! I enjoyed myself and wish you all the best of luck crunching for TechIMO. If anyone running just FAD is interested, come on over and check out UD.

but if we are going lose you from FAD, i'm heartened by the news that you'll be concentrating on UD. the Ex Mad Cows have been hard-hit in 2003, so your renewed enthusiam for the project is the silver lining to all this.

i've had to cut my UD production back significantly, so i'm glad to see that the team won't be losing you. and my being a static target in the UD lists will give you something to shoot for, i guess.

I've never left UD, but FAD might be somewhere in the future. I really enjoy UD and wish there was more interest in the ExMadCows team here in the forums. We've lost quite a few members in the last year.

There are 3 KC firemen in the top 68(team EMC's) in UD numbers now.

I have to thank fyxxer32(fireman, #31) for getting me into UD. r31fireguy is #68.

PresterJohn - You're about the only one that has passed me on my way up the charts. SaTaNcLaUz smoked by me, but I since passed him back. I admire the dedication you have had in our fight to find a cure.

Thanks again all, I'm also getting ready to bring another 2 machines to my herd for UD. XP2000+ and an XP2400+.
