Congratulations on your decision BitSpit, and welcome to XPC, we look forward to seeing you.
My commiserations to Timo on your loss, I am sure though that you will continue the good fight and help in finding new cures.
DPA, if it is any help, I do the stats over on XPC, the method I use is a simple copy and paste from the FaD stats server, I can do it in less than 20 mins start to finish as most of it is semi automatic. If you would like a copy of the Excel file I use and instructions, by all means pm me
I have to agree with BitSpit though on the feel of Timo, it has changed and is only a shadow of the 'Good old days', I can understand you all have your reasons for staying and I admire that
Best of luck...

Sad to see TIMO FAD Team like it is, and I welcome BitSpit to XPC with open arms. He can help us pay out TT!
For those left here, good luck, and keep crunching. We are all in this for the cures, so wherever you are happy to run FAD then keep it going!
DPA if you can do stats like w2k then you will be a marvel!! He has a great passion for the stats and I hope you can keep some passion going here too.
Feel free to visit us a XPC if you feel like it. We even have the "arch-enemy" from ThinkTub visiting us as well!
Cheers
Mick

Just letting you know what happened shortly after the team split, ScottW took the Captain position to prevent another movement of this FaD team...
Welcome to XPC Bitspit, see you soon | ScottW is the TC?!?!?!?! WTH?!?!
I thought BS was the TC!!
At least BS shows some team spirit and provided us with the cool stats.!!! I hardly ever see Scott around here!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All I can say is .... WOW.!!!
I'm definitely moving my FaD points to ExDC also and only stay on the genome wagon here at TIMO.!
It's not that I have something again Scott but a TC needs to be very active on the team and ... Code: 86 ScottW-techimo 4002232 3 25 29777 2771 0:000:20:09:58

See ya...!

anyone else want on the bandwagon out of here?
techimo is going to be consumed by teams beneath us in but a short time at this rate, might as well get it over with. |

guys, please don't give up crunching. we all know how important it is.
bitspit made a decision to leave because doing it here just wasn't the same, anymore. it wasn't fun for him, anymore.
those of you who decide to stay...you guys have always had my respect - we crunched a lot of mollies together. it goes without saying that any and all are welcome at xpc...come visit us & judge for yourself.
BUT above all else, don't stop crunching. whether it's here on TIMO or whether it's on XPC or even another team, please don't stop! we're helping to save lives here...that's what's important. |

Just a question, don't everyone kill me for this. If you feel the need to berate or chastise me, do so through pm.
What IS keeping us here at TIMO. For me, it's convenience. I come to the site daily so it's simple for me to just click on the DC link. However, I could do the same at XPC. We could just form an alliance and go over there and have it the way it used to be... At the top, or near it in the stats, fun banter.
Banter is lacking big-time. I see Tony, DPA, Sixfoot4, Gouki , David, Omar, Maxconfusion, Heavy and a few others around all the time, other than that, most members are very sporadic. We do have 109 members, thats a good number, but not that many are active.
We need spirit, yes we do, we need spirit, how 'bout .... |

i'm sorry to see you leave, bitspit. yoodaman, man. meanwhile i'm happy too stay here, too lethargic to move, and i prefer the look of the techimo site to xpc, however if EVERYONE else decides to up sticks and create a superteam at xpc, then i too would join. don't want to see it happen, but bitspit WAS strong glue for the team with his (almost) daily stats. i think he should dump all his current jobs to techimo before he leaves though, what do YOU say, bitspit?

techimo is going to be consumed by teams beneath us in but a short time at this rate, might as well get it over with. | One of the reasons why I like these DC projects is the competiveness...and with all the members we lost initially when the team split and now our Team Captain (Scott who? ) going over to XPC...Team TechIMO is gonna drop in the ranks pretty quick.
jmebonner asked a very good question. I'm not sure yet if I'll switch or not...but the temptation is definitely there.

those of us that left for XPC did not abandon TIMO. i want to make that very clear! this is a great board and anybody who says or thinks that I or anybody else on xpc, abandoned you guys...well, they're flat-out wrong. i prefer to think that we are sister teams.
after all, a lot of us still visit techimo and Mntsnow (XPC owner) and NDC (XPC mod) are very active here as well. it's just that we genuinely felt that XPC would do a better job supporting FAD. it's not about which board is better, they're both great places.
but if you ask me, the fad forums at xpc is what this place USED to be like before all the restrictions got put in place.
jmebonner...you and anyone else here is more than welcome to check us out. no sales pitches, no hard sell...visit us and see for yourself.
