I have come to a decision

And it's not an easy decision. This place just doesn't feel right anymore. There just doesn't seem to much interest left from the team. It's draining the motivation out of me. A such, I've made a decision. I'm switching to XPC. I like the feel of the place. It's like how this place once was. I miss that.

I'll still be around. Just maybe not as much.

sorry to hear that you have come to this decision, but i can't disagree with your decision.

Glad to see that you will still come around though.

I would like to offer myself as team captain as bitspit is leaving for XPC. I don't want to assume this position as im sure that there are others on our team that would be more than happy to do this, but i am offering myself to do the stats, news updates, and politics.

I do not know where bitspit gets the information create his stats, but if you want me to, im sure that i can pick up right where bitspit left off.

is there anyone else that would like to offer themselves? we don't just have to have 1 captain either.

Right now the stats are in one huge spreadsheet (file size is 823KB). However, I would recommend starting over with a database-driven method. Mine takes too much work.

well, i wont assume that i will be captain of the team yet as there hasnt' been enough time for others to voice their opinions and points.

although, the stats could be used in a formula type setting by contrasting day [x] with [x+1] and exceptions to highlight certain numbers. [mile stones]

DPA, Bitspit wasn't the official Captain of your team, it was taken over by ScottW a while back, check the Email Address of your Stats page.

Just letting you know what happened shortly after the team split, ScottW took the Captain position to prevent another movement of this FaD team...

regardless, scottw is hardly ever around, he can be the team captain officially, call bitspits position what you want, but somebody here is going to need to take bitspits position.

J/K Bitspit.

While I agree with you and fight a weekly urge to switch, I'll just keep hanging out here.
I second the motion made by sixfoot4

I also realize that it probably takes a ton of work to do the stats, so I propose that you take a couple days off per week DPA. It's obviously entirely up to you, but BitSpit's shown us that we don't need stats every day of our lives, so take a day off here and there.

Just my two cents worth!

DPA, Fair enough, I was just letting you know that the TC position here has no power anymore.

I also think that DPA is a good choice of Representation for this team, however my thoughts probably don't carry much weight....
