    FaD on OSX?

Is there a way to run FaD on OSX(G5). I would really like to do this.

according the the find a drug website, there is no current software to run FaD on a MAC platform, which is a crying shame, a G5 would be a worthy addition.

OSX is Unix based so in theroy it should not be that hard to get it to run.

Actually, it's BeOS based, and since it's a custom platform, it does present a challenge. I don't really know Think's reasoning behind why they don't have a Mac version, but my best guess is there were either compatability problems, or there just wasn't enough demand for it.

hmmm, i am far from a macintosh expert but all the articles that i've seen indicate that os-X is mostly unix based. beos was a separate animal altogether...shame that m$ and some poor decision making kept beos from making its mark on the os landscape.

    Doh! My bad...

I meant BSD not BeOS... lol... you're right, it is unix-based.
