Well . . . looking at my change up and goals that I set for the Jan. 1st . . . The forecast after 1 week is:

Sarah will join the 1M club around the 7th of Dec.
mrniceguytech will join the 1M club around the 14th of Dec.
surrealchereal will join the 1M club around the 7th of Feb.
vass0922 will join the 1M club around the 1st of Jan.

Looks like I need to make a little adjustment to try and bring everything a little more into line with making the goal. :p Auntie is still way out of whack at meeting the goal. :( Oh well, I still think I can make the goal. :D

*UPDATE*

Well, I'm now down to 6 weeks remaining in the year to reach the goals I set the first of November. That goal was to see 4 new members in the Millionaire's Club. :D The current forecaste is:

Sarah will join the 1M club around the 7th of Dec. *(Changed to Dec. 14)*
mrniceguytech will join the 1M club around the 14th of Dec. *(No change)*
surrealchereal will join the 1M club around the 7th of Feb.*(Changed to Dec. 31)*
vass0922 will join the 1M club around the 1st of Jan. *(Changed to Jan. 5)*

Still wondering when the missing points will show up and how much of a change they'll make. At this point, it doesn't look like I'll have to make any adjustments in my crunchers to meet my goals. :D Come the new year, there's one more "Ol' timer" I'm thinking of helping up the stats to join the club. I'll let ya'll guess who that will be. :p

My upgrades have been placed on hold by a couple financial set-backs . . . all in one week, I had to replace the hydraulic clutch slave cylinder in my truck, wifey tail-ended a truck with her car (she's okay, but I will have to replace the nose of her car), and I had to put new snow tires on daughters car (to include all wheel alignment $738). That all made out for a very expensive week. That's going to take some time to recover from. :(

On the bright side, we're now up to 64" of snow on the hill for the season and still waiting to see if it will be a normal season or another one like last year when the season total ended at 632".

I'll have to leave the stats to someone who has the template, unless someone could e-mail it to me.

Just about time for me to get ready for my weekly "Bend Band of Brothers" breakfast. :D

Well . . . Gabriel is back on line, for how long I don't know. I've been fighting the 0x000000C2 error hitting right at the F8 during the install or repair. I've changed the RAM, HDD, CD-ROM, Keyboard, SATA cable, IDE cable, video card, and can't get past the 0x000000C2. Only things left to change out are the MoBo (in the shop waiting for final payment), CPU (in closet waiting for MoBo and RAM), PSU, and case. Anyway, after about a dozen attempts today, it surprised me and took a clean install. :D

So, Gabriel is now crunching under someone else's name . . . as is Austin and Zeus. I think ya'll will figure out who pretty quick. :p I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that in 2 months time . . . you're going to need a million points to be in the top 21. And one month after that . . . you'll need over a million to be in the top 24.

Once that plan is complete . . . it'll be time to see maybe 3 or 4 more in the 10M club. :p

The questions are . . . Will *e*-man and Vern join me in increasing these numbers? Or . . . will the next contest put a kink in the plan?

Stay tuned and let's watch the numbers climb! :D

I finally got my SSD Raid 0 rig going. The question is...when running F@H has anyone checked to see how often data is written to the hard drive? I ask 'cause lots of reads/writes to an SSD are a big no no. It wears the drive out. Other then that, I love SSD. I'm still tweaking it, but my reads are averaging 325Mb's a sec. The writes are at 50Mb's a sec, way low for SSD, but I'm working with Corsair on the issue.

britches! B=0 Its been 11 days.

Ever since I changed my GPU client back to my original folding name, my computer has become unstable for some reason.

The power went out while I was away earlier this week and when I stopped by my house after realizing I could not connect remotely to my computer use any of my programs, my computer had frozen like as if it was out of memory. I could click on icons and the F@H clients were still running, but I could not open any documents or programs. I couldn't even restart the computer so I had to do a hard reset.

Well, when it came back up I forgot to do a verification on my RAID. Now that I came back again today my computer was locked up again. This time I am verifying and repairing my RAID to see if that had an errors causing the system freezes from when the power went out.

Soooo...how was everyone else's week?

PS. - First thread :heh:
