Fan Speed Controller Modding

I have a D.C. Speed Controller from Jaycar (10A 12VDC Motor Speed Controller Kit) which I have built to control the fan speed of my case fans (I have two, I'm not connecting the CPU_FAN). I have a case plate which has a pot on it and a switch to turn the fan on and off.
My problem is I'm not sure where to connect my two fans to the speed controller and where to connect the on/off leads to the speed controller also.
This may sound confusing, so I've added pictures to help!
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Cheapest Build Possible for Win7?

I'm just looking to see if you guys can give me a ballpark figure of the cheapest build I can make that will be good enough to run Windows 7 decently.

Right now, the comp I'm looking to upgrade from is:
Intel Celeron 1.8ghz
256mb RAM
Windows XP
Old mobo, integrated gfx only, no sound card, very old comp...
80gb HD 7200rpm
DVD Drive
DVD Burner
All parts are probably a good 8 years old

May need a new LCD monitor.. 19" would be nice... I'm guessing that'll be the deal breaker..

But considering I can get Win7 for $30, I got a keyboard, mouse, printer already..
I'm looking for Mobo, gfx card if needed (I have an old ati radeon x800gto), PSU + Case, anything else I missed.

Crazy, or too much time on my hands. I built a nice P4 system for my son, then he gave me back his starter machine, an AMD 450 on a Tyan Super 7 board. I was wondering what the heck am I going to do with this thing, I use it for Dos games now, has Windows 98 and is great for playing the old stuff I cannot run on XP and Vista. Well, I got another Motherboard coming, and being a disabled Veteran without steady employment, I couldnt afford a Chassis for it. so I yanked out the AMD 450 guts. to make room for the new board. Well I was bored one night and decided I was going to do something wacky so here it is, I cleaned out my old cabinet and put fabricated everything into it using an old minitower case that I cut apart for a chassis, and some misc parts that I had no other used for and buit the whole thing into the top shelf. My Son and nephew got a kick out of seeing a running computer that wasnt a computer as we know it, it was kind of educational in a way for the kids. So here is a link to the machine.

Cabinet Computer pictures by Bubsterfinster - Photobucket (http://s858.photobucket.com/albums/ab143/Bubsterfinster/Cabinet%20Computer/)

If you think that is nuts, My next idea is to put a computer into a holiday popcorn tin. You know, those ones that have 3 flavors and normally get stale before it all gets eaten.....

Hi folks, I just rebuilt my HP with a Celeron 340 into another case, It has 2Gigs of RAM, an 8400GS. I am running a duel boot with XP and Vista. I have added a 350 Watt PSU. I play games pretty good with it, even Left 4 dead runs pretty well, My problem is keeping the thing cool. I ran across some fans that I salvaged out of an old Digital Server 7000. I aquired it free through craigslist. The thing was instorage for 5 years and had a family of mice that took up residence on the motherboard. so the machine itself was useless. so anyway, I want to cut 3 nice holes out of the case panel and mount these fans into it. No of course, I am planning to power these things from an external source. The fan specs are as follows. Nidec BETA V. TA450DC. They are 12V DC .49AMP. Give me an idea on how I can wire these up to a 12V Power supply. I also have a power switch from an old blown 140W PSU that I can use to turn them on. I just need to know how to wire these things. I have a huge box of power supplies from old nintendo power supplies, and phone ones, and battery chargers, way too many different ones to list. I love to tinker and modify, I dont throw things like that away, for reasons like this!!

Image: http://www.techimo.com/forum/images/icons/icon9.gif *Help!!!! Need three systems*
 Hello -
I need the forums help please. I need to "build" three "client" systems for class. I am so overburdenedthat I am scrambling to put these together. Can I please get some help. Here is the specs. Client is a free lance programmer who develops graphics and animations for on-line content. She is concerned with speed, storage, and reliabilty. She wishes to minimize the cost of the systemsbut not at the expense of her key requirements. She currently runs WinXP pro and wants to continue to use it. She uses the current versions of FLash and Photshop as her main development tools. She works on two projects per month. Each project generates between 1.5 gb and 3.0 gb of data files. She needs to archive for all projects, both for her own use and her clients needs. For the NIC, she has DSL and uses it to deliver via FTPsites and VPNs.

So......
I need two systems, one is low end profeesor was saying I should piece it together for around $300 if I went with onboard graphics. Second system is high end.

Last I need a system..."I was given $10,000 to build a dream system" (of course I would go gaming)

I know this is alot but it would really help me out
thanx
