Final Fantasy XIII: PS3 Exclusive?

American games mag EGM makes the claim, suggesting that the next entry in the Final Fantasy series is heading exclusively to the PlayStation 3. According to the mag, a brief teaser video will be rolled-out at E3 showing off Final Fantasy XIII in all its next-gen splendour, and presumably sending series loyalists into an excited frenzy.

awsome tho is it turn based like the rest? also was final fantasy X2 12 or a remake of 10?

final fantasy X2 was a direct sequel to X which, was the first time they did that.

and I dont see why its news that its PS3 exclusive, Squaresoft has been in bed with sony with the FF series for many years, save Final Fantasy CC which was lame, and a mistake. I'm glad they are sticking with sony.

The reason I consider it news is because Xbox fanatics have touted that the Final Fantasy series was going to become an exclusive for 360.

The only Final Fantasy titles that are going to be on the Xbox 360 are MMO's which will also make it onto the PS3 and PC.

You have to look at what SE said very carefully, they didn't ever mention FF titles for the Xbox 360 the only thing they said was multi platform titles would also be making it to the Xbox 360 as well as the PC and PS3.

We almost certainly won't see any FF titles on anything other than the PS3(not including handhelds) next generation like this generation.
