| Price cut on Sony PS3 once again??? http://www.engadget.com/2007/09/10/m...oliday-season/ Quote: |
This one's firmly in the rumor category, but Ars Technica is reporting that its "mole" had gotten wind of some fairly big plans Sony has in store for this holiday season, not the least of which is a new 40GB PlayStaiton 3 that would retail for $400. What's more, this source says that Sony will also be dropping the price of the 80GB PS3 to $500, and that one or both will come bundled with a Blu-ray version of Spider-Man 3. If that's not enough, Ars Technica is also reporting that Sony will be dropping the price of the tried and true PS2 to a mere $100,

Tempting, isn't it?
A $400 BR-D player, if nothing else.
If only I were rich...or foolish...I'd buy one without hesitating...but I have spent way too much already... |

I wouldn't be surprised... The PS3 isn't selling to well right now and even PS3 fans like myself are refusing to pay $600 for the console.

Very true..I've been holding out on getting one of these till they drop the price. Which I kind of don't like that fact that they are doing over the x-mas season. It makes it hard for anyone to find one then. Which is just a PITA!
But when they release the new SOCOM game, I'll be getting one for sure! |

Still too expensive for me...Then again I can't afford any of the next gen systems
Sony has it's work cut out for them this time around..if they want to make any sort of profit that is. |

...you disconnect your pc from your monitor and everything else, connect it to your tv, hope everything works without needing different drivers, spend half an hour trying to get the settings for video and sound working and getting it setup...pop the movie in, and watch it. |
