Shoot 'em up: Crimecraft at GDC

The best way to describe Crimecraft is that it's an MMO shooter that embraces the concept of post-apocalyptic gangs duking it out in urban wastelands. There's a backstory to the game that explains how, after the US fell apart due a series of ecological and financial disasters, cities became autonomous states and wound up building walls around themselves for protection. Now, cities are the only safe places for people to gather, as they have adopted a Wild West-like, "check your gun at the door," approach. As a result, the cities serve as the game's lobbies where people can meet, mingle, and trade goods.

Wow. If that is true, its like taking Fall Out (Tabula Rasa also comes to mind since it was a shooter MMO) and making it better. Since they don't have information on pricing yet ... I am not going to hold my breathe. If they pull this off, i will have replaced COD4:Modern Warfare and BF2 in one fell swoop!
