Square Enix: FFXIII to use 100 percent of PS3's power

The producer of Final Fantasy XIII has said that the game uses 100 percent of the PS3's processing power. But what does that mean for the Xbox 360 version?


In Japan the game will only be seeing release on the PS3, so Kitase made no mention of the Xbox 360 version that will be coming to other territories.

Weird that we are getting a xbox 360 release and Japan isnt ... Curious to see how that gets pulled off.

well i could create a game too that uses all of the PS3 processing power, either it's really stunning or just GPU hungry ;P

the PS3 is already an old console, computer graphic cards already outrun the quality of the cell processor and still there is no one who can actually use the whole processor, maybe they can achive this but well i kinda doubt it, but we will see

the thing is that the Cell processor is so retarded powerful, i highly doubt he means the CPU is being used 100%. I think he means the GPU is being used 100%, which to me makes much more sense. I highly doubt they are crunching the numbers to study black holes like some scientists...

Frankly, i dont like the trend towards "Tactical Command" battles. I didnt like the demo for 12 and i sure as hell wont like the demo for 13. Sucks.
