Left 4 Dead on Steam

Basically, you preload it, and when Friday gets here you get 24 hours of free play.
Funny thing about this, I preloaded lastnight, just got done with a game.

SO, you can play now for free until it ends I guess.

Only thing worse than zombies is WWII games Karma.

I will quit pc gaming if they do another WWII Zombie game. ie RTCW or MOHAA (the minigun wielding super nazi's had to be zombies).

WTF, MOHAA was straight up. Zero zombies. You must be thinking of something else or I misread your post.
I do recommend giving Left4Dead a try. The single player is worthless, don't even bother with it. The MP is surprisingly fun, and the team action is tense and exciting.

I always thought they should make L4D a free (LAN) version for at least 1 more player.

I know they have the little "offline" hack from Steam that allows you to play in your local network, where it thinks it's connected to the internet.

But I mean, without all that hooplah.

Haven't tried L4D multiplayer yet. Single-player wasn't as bad as "worthless" IMO though.

But definately not something to get excited over.

Left 4 Dead is pretty cool, but after a while you can pretty much guess when a horde/tank will come out. They really need to release some new maps and change up the timing. Of course with valve it will take forever to release new maps

(just look at DOD:s and CS:S)

They added a new survival mode for L4D which is pretty neat in a way, the hardest part is finding people who actually work together

Sorry, I was referencing Medal Of Honor Airborne Assault and not the original great single/multiplayer Medal Of Honor Allied Assault or ANY of it's predecessors until Airborne Assault.

I mostly play it with friends, I only did a few level with random guys.

Dont get me wrong, there are random people out there who will work with you. I don't bother going after those who run across the map and get grabbed by a smoker/hunter while the rest of the group are trying to fight off a horde.
