Second I passed on due to previous one. The 3rd one I will have to download later after reading about it, it may be worthy of my hard earned money.......I7 920 @ 4.2Ghz/6GB//GTX480 SLI/M4 64 GB + 1.5 TB + 2x 640 GB/Corsair TX950/ASUS blu-ray/ASUS P6X58D-E + X-Fi /LC PCK62

Depending on how you developed your character, evil slaver route ... you can find alot of nifty stuff in the Pitt, aka second DLC, but if your a goodie goodie ... i think its worth skipping.
If you look into the 3rd DLC, they are adding a perk that lets you "respawn" dogmeat. That alone is so worth it.

Well I have lost my previous saves so I will have to start again anyway.... Not to bothered though as I had done all the quests. Getting dogmeat back would be great as I find I turn around and he has been killed by a deathclaw and you havent saved recently.

But more quests is a huge plus, the map is way too large for the small amount of quest you get IMOI7 920 @ 4.2Ghz/6GB//GTX480 SLI/M4 64 GB + 1.5 TB + 2x 640 GB/Corsair TX950/ASUS blu-ray/ASUS P6X58D-E + X-Fi /LC PCK62

Fallout 3 Nexus - Fallout 3 mods and community
Expand your game, BTW there is Dogmeat plug-ins to keep him alive and they are free.

The primary advantage of PC game play. The ability to end up with 3 times the original game from player added resources. I have found players who write modules or plug-ins superior to the game manufacturer.
I like the fact that I have an Oblivion game that goes well beyond the original. As will Fallout 3 as time goes on.

I haven't gotten any of the FO3 DLCs yet. Someday I will.
There are mods that will work on the console version as well as PC.
As for Oblivion, I helped a friend develop a mod that's very well received on TESNEXUS. I didn't do any actual work, but I playtested it and threw some ideas out. One of the quest lines goes into something I suggested (I'm cool, huh).
PM me if you're interested in the Ob mod, I don't want to clog up an FO3 thread with links.
Also, if you're in the mood for mindless but challenging killing sprees in FO3, I recommend the mod Rat Trap. It took me several hours and several reloads to complete.
There's also a weapons mod that adds like 200 new guns and melee items, but I can't remember what it was called.
And it was compatible at least with the Alaska DLC.
