They'll lose sells if they drop a console, sure 360 has more sells and a larger user base then the ps3 but really, would anyone drop 1 out of 3 consoles or would you rather keep your product out for all 3 so people will be able to buy them.
I'm not including PC's in this cuz not alot of people play pc games or even own a pc thats fast enough. | There was a little company named Bungiee that was bought by a certain company called Microsoft to make games for their own console. Their first title ... Halo. What consoles do they make that for? Ohh yea, ONLY the Xbox. Eventually it was ported to PC but it is always released on the Xbox first and foremost.
Dropping any single console or group of consoles doesnt do much except for marketing for the exclusive content and getting a nice signing bonus for it. It would not hurt sales so much as you might think. Last I checked, plenty of the exclusive games do VERY well on their respective systems. |
