Slow, but impressive: hands-on with the Xbox 360 update
From Ars Technica:
Microsoft has given the press an early look at the updated features and organization of the 360 dashboard, and we like what we see: content is easier to find, and quality is easier to judge. Once the sluggishness is removed, this update will do much to make the 360 a more impressive machine.
If you'd like to take the update for a test drive yourself, sign up for the testing program; Microsoft is allowing a good amount of gamers to explore the new options.
Now I am all for improvements, but i hope they manage to work out the kinks of the performance aspect of the new dashboard. I am not sure i want to beta test it but im tempted to sign up when i get home later today.
