MotionPlus a huge hit for Nintendo with 500K sold in 8 days
From Ars Technica:
Nintendo has announced the early sales of Wii Sports Resort: the game, which includes the MotionPlus peripheral, has moved over 500,000 units in only eight days. A franchise is continued, a peripheral finds success, and Nintendo remains on top.Last edited by nemowolf; August 7th, 2009 at 01:08 PM.

cool, reading about the MotionPlus, my brother his kids just picked up that title a week or so ago, and my nephew (4 years old) is already kicking his sisters butts in the fencing game, so I picked up Star Wars Clone wars Lightsaber duel game for them the other day, hoping it can take advantage of this "upgrade" to the Wiimotes.
even if it doesn't looks like control in future games should be much better.i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green

supposedly it succeeds where the vitality sensor failed.
haven't seen or tried it myself to see how it does.
but assuming my brother and the kids are home today later, if I'm feeling better, can go over and try it out.i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green
