MotionPlus a huge hit for Nintendo with 500K sold in 8 days

    From Ars Technica:

Nintendo has announced the early sales of Wii Sports Resort: the game, which includes the MotionPlus peripheral, has moved over 500,000 units in only eight days. A franchise is continued, a peripheral finds success, and Nintendo remains on top.

cool, reading about the MotionPlus, my brother his kids just picked up that title a week or so ago, and my nephew (4 years old) is already kicking his sisters butts in the fencing game, so I picked up Star Wars Clone wars Lightsaber duel game for them the other day, hoping it can take advantage of this "upgrade" to the Wiimotes.

even if it doesn't looks like control in future games should be much better.

supposedly it succeeds where the vitality sensor failed.

haven't seen or tried it myself to see how it does.

but assuming my brother and the kids are home today later, if I'm feeling better, can go over and try it out.
