I love when a good marketing campaign seems more out of control then in control.EA has been courting controversy and blogger outrage with its marketing stunts for the upcoming Dante's Inferno, but what many are missing is that the complaints and negative reactions are feeding directly into the game's hype machine. sheer evil genius.

what they need to remember is hype /= sales. Snakes on a Plane proved that. Hype will keep the game active in our minds for later trigger events, but if the reviews say it sucks, gamers won't buy.Good job, friend-of-friends!
