Star Trek Online Preview, Benchmarks
PC Games Hardware takes a prerelease look at the upcoming Star Trek Online multi-player online game, including a few preliminary performance numbers. It looks like a modern dual-core processor and a good mid-range video card should handle the game decently enough.
When talking to the developers we learned that the engine is optimized for dual-core systems - additional cores are not or only slightly utilized. DirectX 10 or DirectX 11 are not supported. FSAA or SSAA can be activated directly in the game. The physics engine is a self-made structure that runs on the server as well as on the clients.

Seems an ideal build for gaming PC. Invest fairly on processor and graphics card to deliver high performance. Take a look on Gigabyte stuff too.
Some help building a PC?
