Ut2K3 and Ut2k4(demo) is much better then Halo..

i voted for halo i cant wait for halo 2 either i just won a tourney down in cali i got raedon 9800 pro all in wonder its so sweet and i get qualified for world tourney even though i will get my a@# noobed

UT all the way... Halo's so-so for me. But awsome Multiplayer.. but UT is full of mutiplayer.. I think UT 2004 will blow Halo 2 off. Unless i see some multiplayer screenshot... anyone?

Halo came out waaaayyyyy before ut2k3... just not for PC. It has been around for quite a while (2001) on xbox and is pretty much the same game.

I personally like ut2k4 best.

UT2k4 is still just a demo, but so far it blows the pants off any game of halo i ever played and we had the projection screen and xbox so all the halo matches were in my living room.

Halo just runs like pure poopie multiplayer online, good game though. The people writing the netcode for UT2004 seem to have a clue, plays great online.

Neither are the "best games ever", the best FPS ever at the moment is most likely... Call of Duty. I am looking forward to Farcry, Deus Ex: Invisible War (It's not out over here yet) and Pain Killer.

All IMHO of course.

You cant fairly compare 2 games that have at least 2 years apart from one another. The technology has changed dramatically in that time. However, Halos story alone will stomp all over anything that UT2k4 will ever dream of. Bungies dedication to that part of a game is unmatchable. As far as MP goes will dont know crap about Halo2 but Im sure Halo2 will beat ut2k4 out of the water. Yet the question for this thread is Halo vs ut2k4, and even if you cant legitimatly compare the 2, Im still picking Halo. When the game came out for the box, it revolutionized FPS's for consoles. No other FPS put the story, graphics, physics, and multi into a game like Bungie did. In fact its still, in my eyes, the best game for any console out and its over 2 years old!!!!
