Halo console vs Halo pc
Halo console, to me, is much better. though it isnt via xbox live, the multiplayer is great. The graphics are much more clean and overall put together better. The pc version was rushed and had a poor port conversion.

Hmmm, I prefer console cuz my pc cant play it properly. I have to build a new pc anyway for HL2. As far as being rushed for PC Im not to sure about that, its standard these days to make a game upto a certain level then release it, then release a patch or two right away. I do know for sure that Halo console was rushed, Bungie didnt have the time they wanted due to the Xbox release itself. I also know the porting to PC and Mac for that matter sucks more than a hoover. And Gearbox's approach to kickin is absolutley ridiculous.

Nothing that beats Halo in XBOX.
Even if I dont like XBOX I have to say nothing beats it with Halo
And I am a PS2/PC fanatic.

I played both and in the end I disliked both halos. Can't beat Unreal TOurnament IMO.

Any game that is ported very well onto the PC, will always beat it's console counter-part.

Yeah console for me too. Mainly though because I first played it on a console so I've associated Halo to consoles. Playing with a KB and mouse, although technically superior, just isn't the same.
On the other hand though, the PC port does run like crap on even high end machines- clearly not the quality of the original Halo product, and for that the console gets my vote too.

I saw the console version when it 1st came out and used to watch my flatmate play it on his xbox, I thought it looked rather drab and unappealing. So I was a little hesitant to get it for my PC - but I was plesently supprised. So I vote PC

omg...when i see the foolishness i want to scream....
yes, halo pc does have its compatibility issues, but if you can run it, it has the most beautiful graphics.....a huge improvement over xbox version
i have never experience any graphics issues with halo, and i can crank it up to full antialiasing and everything else and still have no lag
graphics are much cleaner than in the xbox version, and multiplay is greatly increased due to the addtion of banshee, guns, and maps
hacking and modding is much easier on pc....
there is nothing at all which makes the xbox version better!
maybe multiplay if you frequently have friends over, but that is what LAN parties are for, and you dont need to worry about
screen watching if you are playing pc version, in real life you could not see out of each player's eyes, you would only have radar
so i really cant see anything which makes the xbox version better, correct me if i am wrong
ps i do admit, my specs go way above and beyond what halo requires, which is why i do not expereince any bad graphics

From what i've read, AA doens't do anything for HaloPC except slowing it down. Unless the latest patch changed that.
As far as graphics, i have them turned all the way up, and they're ok at best. I didn't see anything groundbreaking at all. The only thing about halo that was impressive was the physics. UT2004 IMO has better graphics and runs smoother.

I beat it on Xbox. I like it on PC just cuz the graphics are a little better but I think that it is built better for the xbox just cuz it can handle the graphics without totally laggin out

anytime you port a console game to a pc, you are going to have compatibility issues, which is why your system stats must be way above and beyond what halo pc requires in order to run halo pc
but, graphics is better because pcs can handle more intensive calculations, physics and everything that goes with pcs and what consoles can not handle
that is why many people cannot expereince halo as it should be played, and when you see it, its beautiful
