| Massive Multiplayer Games…
Ok guys I want to try one of those massive multiplayer games… altought I have seen Everquest, Star Wars Galaxies, Ultima Online (If still exists), Planestcape and many others…..
Anyone knows a free one? At least to try the experience….. I don’t have much time usually I can game for 1-2 hours on weekdays and in weekends Saturday is free.
What about Everquest? Monthly Fee?
Star wars galaxies? Monthly Fee?
I know one of the most anticipated coming this year will be World of Warcraft, the beta is very close.
any other suggestions are appreciated!!! |

All the ones you have mentioned have a monthly fee. However if you buy the software the first month is usually free.
I am not aware of any totally free MMORPG's on the market. It is very expensive to maintain. |

DAoC
Dark Age of Camelot
very nice game, the graphics arent that bad and the worlds are awsome, many NPC enemies, but you can also fight against Players (in Battlegrounds)
there are 3 realms Albion, Hibernia, and Midgard, and they have all unique armors, weapons and landscape, it's really impressive! they already have add ons (shrouded island and Trials of atlantis) they upgraded the water effect (looks awsome ) and added some new areas and more quests and tasks.
you can be quite everything from stealther to warrior, there are four different races in every realm (i think )
you just have to check it out, first month is free as usual, 3 month cost around $20 (here in europe!)
worth to check it out!

Ok I have another question:
How these games work, I start a new character then appear in the world?
I need to looks for quests, jobs?
do they have like inital areas were you wander to take XP and get companions? |
