I want to buy a game but im not sure which one...
should i buy BF:Vietnam or UT2004?

Not another BF and UT thread.... just buy UT, that's my choice, but if you want a "realism" world... buy BF. UT are for unreal people.

download the ut2k4 demo and (if there is one) a bf demo, and you tell us

Depends on what you are interested in.
For me, I rather have a more realistic game like Battlefield. It reenacts a war, and thats why I'd go for it.

I think I would prefer the more realistic styling of BF. I had UT2003 for a while but I got bored of it. The UT2004 demo reaffirmed my faith in the game as it was superb. I will prolbably buy both but BF first.
Nods as good as a wink to a blind bat.

BF Vietnam!!!
this is because i cant get into the whole ut2k* and halo thing....just not for me....plus i am anticipating BF Vietnam more because Bf1942 was my favorite multiplayer game ever

BF VIetnam is awsome! The graphics and new multiplayer gameplays are supurb. Just make sure your system has a fast hard drive and a lot of RAM. My system has 512mb ddr and a 7200rpm drive, and it takes a while to load a map, even after past the loading screen. BUt the awsome gameplay makes up for the lack of performance. If I had them, I'd give BF Vietnam 10 thumbs up.
I was up until about 4 am last night playing BF Vietnam(Sorry jimbo, after I said I was finished for the night, I woke up again at around 12am and started playing again
)
