According to EBGames, it`s been delayed until June of this year, at best.
I know ID hasn`t supplied any1 with a release date... EB is just guestimating.

I quit waiting. There are good games that have ACTUALLY come out. LOL. THey wait too long all that graphical glory they boast about will be just up to par with other games that have been out. Uh oh. There go the profits. The new POP is gonna be somthing to live up to already. More of that kinda graphical juiciness gets out and well,.....

Yeah, this stinks. I wish they would just say that it is delayed indefinatly and then surise us all one day. Same goes for HL2. Just dont say anything.
Then, when they are done, say its done! Then tell us when it will be on the shelves. 
But, there are plenty of good games out now to keep us busy.  | |

To be fair, id hasnt said anything about when its coming out to the public. The only release dates have come from retailers guessing when it is coming out so they can get more preorders. id has stuck with the "when its ready" since the start and id rather wait for it to actually be ready than to get a game that sucks and needs to be patched as soon as you install it just to get it to play right. | |

I'm also willing to wait...
tony: Why the hatred? Would you prefer them to just say "It'll be done in one month," and then have it be delayed six months?
They can't just "surprise" us with a game release, do you know how bad that'd be for business? | |

Amazon also has the release date set to June 1st... I personally stopped believeing anything I read about release dates a long time ago... Once I see atleast a demo, i'll start getting excited about rumors again. | |
