True dat. I had my moments of fun/scared beyond belief with the DoomIII beta (not alpha), and I have lost a slight bit of interest in HL2, but I will buy it nonetheless. Unless I blow all my money on another graphics card, as it's time for an upgrade. |

Well, Maya, 3ds Max and Lightwave will run fine on a low scale card, now OTOH an ATI card MADE for 3d rendering would be the kind of card that would help in that sort of thing, but you don't need an XT for 3d stuff.
I've rendered both on a Radeon 9000 and Radeon 9600 XT, and noticed no difference in rendering times.
