Empire Earth won't play on my pc

Here are my specs:

1.2Bird
Epox 8K7A+
256 Corsair 2400
MSI Geforce2 PRO

I install the game just fine. I click to play it and it gives me the busy thing for 2 sec then it just quits. Like I never pressed it.
It said in the read me file that I need 14.20s if I have Geforce and AMD. So I did that and still nothing.

Have you read the readme file? There are a lot of compatibility issues described in it. I have a machine with similar hardware and the game runs fine. The only time I got a problem like that was when I tried to run the game from a copy that I burned, but then it ran fine with the original disc. No surprise there.

I am currently using the 23.11s from NVidia without problem. Make sure that you have anti-aliasing turned off in the advanced video setup or the menus will not look right. The readme file explains this better.
