hi, i need some help, I tryied to run renegade and when i want to install it the movies start to run and when the movies end Renegade Setup crashes to Desktop with no error I have:

S3 Graphics ProSavageDDR
192 MB RAM
1.7 GHz Celeron Processor
Windows98 Second Eddition

Is there any problem with my windows and should I reinstall windows because I gave it to my friend he also has 2.0 GHz Celeron Processor and Windows98 and It ran great on his computer.

Hey man- Just so you know its nothing to do with your Windows system; its the S3 Savage. Unfortunately for those of us who have the pleasure of owning an S3 not many games support it. So what you really need to do is get a new video card. I bought a new 128MB Albatron GForce video card - it runs pretty sweet now. So yea thats your problem sorted - now Mine! I have previously used Renegade on this computer and it worked fine; I haven't changed anything since I last played it, but now I can't even install it! All it does now is the screen turns black and it just sits there. I left it for several hours one day to see if it helped... it didn't. Any ideas people?
