Far Cry

FarCry, is an AWESOME game, graphics, gameplay, sound, all awesome. I'm definately gonna buy it. if you haven't played the demo, go download it here.

Yep very pretty game, although I didn't care for the actual gameplay.
can chew up and spit out most machines out on the market today.

Yup far cry is very pretty to look at, but the game play is not my fav either.

You know, I guess I'm the one guy who didn't like this game.

It was okay, but not as Earth shattering as all of the hype. Yeah, it looks great (if you've got a super, over-the-top, "what? you doing have a $600 graphics card?" system), but the gameplay was just the same old "Run around and shoot things" you get with Quake, Doom, Unreal Tournament, Halo, etc.

I guess that's just not my idea of thrilling gameplay.

No you aint ...Ill join your club it was okay a bit boring in places the AI was hyped up to the max and was a bit of a let down in the end and the ending was terrible...

I got the beta test trial and the multiplier angle isnt anything special either..

MP is fun...nothing new. I enjoyed it until the trigens showed up. the game is so realistic and then...monsters?? you gotta be f***ing kidding me! they seemed so out of place and totally ruined it. plus you move so d***ed slow its hard to avoid them when they jump at you. now, if this was a jurassic park game I would say sweet! but the same ol same ol moster thing is just getting so lame. hl2 and d3 own that category, we dont need anything else.

Me too.

Granted. I didn't love the game, but I can see it's appeal. As a realistic FPS, it does a good job. Monsters suddenly appearing, however, seems like a "pile on". Like someone in HQ said "Kids like Monsters. Doom has Monsters. Half Life has Monsters. We need Monsters. Add them!"

It's a cop-out.
