Starcraft II

Blizzard is not officially worknig on a SCII at this very moment, but they do plan to explore that part of the universe once again as tehy said here...

"Will you be making StarCraft II?

We have not announced any current plans for StarCraft II. We are all very close to the worlds and characters we created in the original game and the expansion set and while we do intend to revisit that universe, we have no plans to do so at this time. "

So maybe there is hope yet for other Starcraft lovers alike...yay?

I think they're still working oh SC:Ghost at the moment, but that won't be released on PC. There's no doubt they'll work on a SC2 after they finish all their WIII duties.

I think I remeber seeing on tv or reading in a gaming mag that SC:ghost was put on hold indefintely.

I heard (Source : this month's Edge magazine) they'd put it back to next year to get the best out of it, or something.

SC: Ghost will be available for PS2, Xbox and GC, sometime around Christmas time.

After that, Blizzard allegedly won't begin working on anything else.

I wish there was a starcraft 2. As long as they dont make it use the dumb warcraft armor system. Or at least dont show it in game for some reason its annoying.

Anyone heard of that mod that they are making. If Blizzard denys it it either means that they are being blizzard or that they are making a new one. If it passes their going to hold back SC2 more.

Random Thought: New forum design is slightly annoying but ill have to get used to it.

Edit: Figures Blizzards fattest cash cow is World of Warcraft.

If only i had dsl and could play it. Id love starcraft 2 but im expecting that it will be awesome. But it could suck. With such high expectations for the awesomness for starcraft it could be bad. I think they should pass the mod. That way they can get more time to prepare the awesomeness. Although the preparing for the release of a game is annoying for the wait. But when its finished SC II should rock.

Far as I know whole resources are right now at Burning Crusade, looks like the MMORPG toll is greater than they predicted...

I hope also they bring Starcraft II.. Will be cool having a good RTS again.

after 10 years, the starcraft broodwar is still pretty popular and doesnt seem to die out unlike modern strategy games taht gets the super hype for a few months b4 been replaced this would be bad for marketting the sc ii

but on the other hand can i suggest them giving battlecruiser wraith speed and siege tank cannon for ground attack and yamato for standard air to air weapon

lol

i just cant see it in real life that a 15 million metric ton battlecruiser gets killed by some exosuit armed with 50 kg air to air missiles

Man Blizzard has made so much money off of WoW, once there done updating it and fine tuning it they'll probably go all out and make one more game and call it quit's (heck i would if i made that kind of money)
