Punk Buster help

I posted in a really old thread. So I will post it here because I dont think anyone else will look at the old thread. But here is the problem.
ok. I am having a problem with punk buster also. But I have run all the updates even the web prog. And this is always happening. PBWEB v2.0
This program is (C) Copyright 2002 by Even Balance, Inc., All Rights Reserved.

pbweb must be launched from the home "pb" folder where the game is installed.
If launched from another location, pbweb will not be able to update PunkBuster.

If you experience a problem with this program, email support@evenbalance.com.

1) Which Game, 2) Operating System, 3) Internet Connection Type, and
4) Any other details that may help in resolving the problem.

why wont it convert the files?
Also When i join a server that requires punk buster it says cannot authenticate with pb server (a1340)

i just join punk buster servers and punk buster updates its self what are you trying to play? have you just tried copying the files to your pb folder (save as iand just putt them in the rightfull place)

Well if ur asking me then, I try to play bf with punkbuster servers and the weird thing is is plaed very well with no accidents until this one day. and what happend is now whenever i join it says im kicked for something callled the 0 minutes tolarance or soemthing like that and than it. Help!!!!!

I'm having the same problem with PunkBuster but in a different way. After updating PunkBuster on the pb filefolder it runs perfectly...however, when I start to run DeepFreeze on the computers at the cyber cafe I work at DeepFreeze prevents the game from locating PunkBuster. At this point it kicks the user off and says I do not have the proper O/S privilage for playing the game.

Any ideas?

Why do they even use punkbuster, i mean look at games like c and c they still have ppl onine and play normally god i hate that program. And i know so many more ppl who are having problems with it.

try doing this. Click this link below. I will take you to a file in which you save to your pb folder in the America's Army Install directory. Save it there and overwrite the older file. This worked for me.

Ryan, Try this to fix the general protection fault error. Go into your video card's properties, and disable Fast Write. I did this, and now mine doesn't ever crash! If you don't know what i'm talking about, please tell me what kind of video card you have, so i can help you further with this situation
