I know UC got some pretty mediocre reviews, but despite the warnings of it's incredibly hard-to-master interface, I went ahead and gave it a try (after all, it's only 19.99). I love the game, but I do feel a little restricted (right now at least) byt my own incomprehension of the way things work (although I do have some basic skills...I can land on a planet, dock on a station, and jump to where I need to go...), so I just have a few quick questions for anyone else who has played and likes it...

First of all, is there any way to know what's going on in the planet/moon below you before landing on it. As you probably know, the process of landing takes a long time, and it seems kind of a waste to go to the trouble for an empty planet...

Secondly, is there any good way to go about leaving a planet? The manual makes it out to be pretty difficult, but I've found it's even harder than the manual says. I've yet to successfully leave a planet (I've always just quit my game and started a new one).

Also, how do you deploy, say, a land vehicle of any sort? I landed on the moon, and was in 'Taxi' at 0...I had sent a medic, a marine, myself (the commander), and a few other personnell to the buggy, but I just don't know how to get the vehicle out of the ship...and I've never been able to clikc on the 'launch' button in the Tactial computer...

Lastly, after mastering the incredbily hard-to-master controls (note that everything I've said so far has applied to Roam mode) where do you go to get missions/quests, and whatnot?

While that was a lot of questions, and I'm sure not many people actually play the game, any help would be greatly appreciated.
