| I need a "Zelda type" game for my PC
The only games I like playing are Mario, Zelda and soccer games.
I never caught the first person shooter bug, racing games etc.
Is there any game like Zelda on the PC? I don't want a "Command and Conqeur"/"Age of empires" type game but a 1st/3rd person adventure.

Are you talking about side-scrollers like SuperMario (good) or 3D like SuperMario 64 (bad)?
Have you looked at any of the Worms games? |

Ever heard of Cannon Fodder? It's like that, sort of. I think I played it once, it's good (side-scrolling fun). |

Nay,
I seek a role playing game with depth. Something that I'll work on for days or weeks. |

A role playing game with depth? Welllllll,
Baldur's Gate
Baldur's Gate 2 & Shadows of Amn expansion
Morrowind (thats some depth for you...try months to finish this unless you have no life) and epansions
Icewind Dale II (first one was iffy...second one had better graphics and tons of action)
Fallout 1
Fallout 2
Just the few I can think of right now that I loved. Fallout 1 is quite old but can still be played on new systems (there is a workaround). |

Icewind Dale was just Baldur's Gate 2 in Winter Wonderland, if you like one you'll like the other (I didn't though). |
