Halo 2 "PC?"

I know that halo :combat evolved came out for the pc, so im hoping Halo 2 will. Has anyone herd about halo 2 coming to pc maybe a few months after it hits xbox? I hope it does, unless I go out and buy n xbox just for halo 2, haha.

ur friend is dumb i mean microsoft doesnt care what system they put it on as long as they make money... pssh i think itll come out a couple months after the release of it on xbox IMO

You mean kinda like how Halo was suppose to originailly come out for the PC, but then the xbox was released so they switched platforms and didn't release the PC version until 2 years later?

At this point, I am not sure what is going to happen.

halo 2 online would be #1 played very quickly, i would love to have it for pc, for those of us who don't own an xbox.

First of all Halo2 pc hasnt even been mentioned in any conversation from M$. Second of all, M$ wants to kill Sony and N, they know how big Halo2 will be. It already has over 1 million presales, that is the highest ever for a video game. In order to kill thier competition they need to keep Halo2 on the box. They realize this, and with rumors of Halo3 coming out when the PS3 ships, M$ needs as many fan as possible for thier console. This is the reason I dont think PC'ers wont ever see halo2. I do think that when Halo3 hits, it will be for both the PC and Xbox2. Thats the whole reasoning for XNA, M$ wants users to have the ability to play one another cross platform. Although I dont think Halo3 will come out for PC for some time after the Xbox2. But to reiterate, M$ probably wont have Halo2 come out for the pc, I just dont see the reasoning. Money is not a good enough reason for them to do this, well at least not until Xbox2 ships, then they could release it. But Bungie will not be doing this one, much like Gearbox did Halo1 I see somene else doing Halo2 for pc. Bungie is to busy to working on a conversion of a past game.

Link please? There is absolutley no word on who is converting it because no one is doing it. Please tell me who it is.
