[rant] I hate PS2 fanboys.

I was arguing with a bunch of em at the bus stop. They said that PS2 was better because it got GTA 6 months before xbox. They also said Halo was bad because it was an old game.

I said "Just because a game is old doesnt make it bad."
"Yeah because it gets boring!!"
"No, I still play Halo on xbox and I got it about 2 years ago!"
"Yeah well we get GTA before you."
"We get it 6 months after PS2"
"By the time you get GTA we've already completed it!!"
"Yeah but you're saying you dont play GTA after 6 months?"
"GTAs boring all the missions are the same."

So basically they contradicted their own argument. They also said all the games that I would buy a PS2 for were bad as well.

PS2 fanboys suck [/rant]

Well just different taste for different people..

I like more the ps2 because their RPG selection, more than that it just a console.

Hooray for venting on public forums about conversations with nincompoops at bus stops. I don't know what you are looking for here, a pat on the back? If you know Halo and XBOX are better and you enjoy playing those games more, then shouldn't you be content simply in knowing you are correct and you have a superior system? Why drag such an obscure argument out into the public like this, seemingly to gain the approval of others or to otherwise continue this argument amongst people who did not start it with you? I think it might be that you are experiencing some PS2 envy yourself...

I just want people who have a PS2 to justify why they prefer them over xbox. Also, I would appreciate responces without the condescending attitude. If you dont like the thread, don't post in it.

Anywho, I just wondered why people prefer PS2 over xbox. Humm, I never thought about the final fantasy series. I just wondered what kind of games people on PS2 play.

well im a true nintendo fan but id have to say out of everything ive played the PS2 is one of the worst of them all no matter what game u play it has the longest load time and the worst graphics of everything,and i dont think anygame could beat halo

..i dont like the bulky xbox controller i need some simpler controls...more like old school nintendo haha. also im not too much of a hardcore graphics person and it just kind of seems like some xbox games try too hard to look good but backfires on itself. not like ps2 doesnt cause there are way more crappy ps2 games. i must say though, xbox is awesome for sports games

huh? grow up! is does not matter if it is PS2, xbox, Sega, Atari, ninetendo or PC as long as its fun who cares if it does sux

oh yeah before i forgot if you have xbox and you dont have ps2 that does not mean ps2 sux and if you have ps2 and you dont have xbox that does not mean xbox sux?

well i own a gamecube,xbox,and my brother own's a ps2 and id still say ps2 if the worst of all but ur right who cares aslong as ur haveing fun
