HL2 - comes with DVD and CD?

I heard that even the basic $50-box version of HL2 comes with not only a DVD version, but the CD's also. Is that true? if so...I'm getting a DVD drive.

The game is due out in the States as a six-CD version along with a more fully rounded DVD version featuring more extras. It's also due out in various packages via Valve's content delivery system Steam. You can find more details on the various retail and online packages
