After the initial free one-month subscription ends, players of World of Warcraft will be able to continue playing under one of three different subscription plans. The month-to-month subscription plan costs $14.99 per month, the three-month plan costs $13.99 per month, and the six-month plan costs $12.99 per month. World of Warcraft subscription fees can be paid by major credit card, PayPal, and pre-paid game cards, which will be available in stores where World of Warcraft is sold. World of Warcraft has received a Teen rating from the ESRB.

Looks like I am going to be going with it over EQ2 purely because WoW has a huge fanbase. I wish I could get my new comp built by then. I am looking at maybe being able to play it mid-december.

EDIT: People who played the beta... how will this run WoW

Geforce 6800 Video card
AMD Sempron 3100+ (this is a socket754)
1gig of pc3700 ram
160gig samsung 7200RPM sata HD
ASUS K8n nforce3 250GB mobo
Thermaltake 420W true power supply.

Looking at the graphics, I think this should run well, with little or no lag depending on the network, what ya think beta guys?

Next week they will have the open beta... so you can register and grab your copy.

I have the feeling the beta will be for 15 days after that they will get ready the server for the launch date.
